A Compression Bandage can apply to multiple different types of bandages. Compression bandages can be used to support a certain part of the body, or to keep a medical device intact and they can come in various shapes and sizes. Short Stretch Compression Bandages can be applied to a limb. They are usually used for the treatment of lymphedema or venous ulcers. This type of bandage is used for long term treatment. Long Stretch Compression Bandages mean that their high compressive power can easily be adjusted. However, they have a high resting pressure so they must be removed at night.
