Drive 14029 Med-Aire Plus Alternating Low Air Loss Mattress Replacement System is ideal for use in nursing homes, hospitals and even for home-care. The medical mattress is intended to support correct pressure redistribution thereby managing, treating and preventing pressure ulcers in patients and the elderly. The hospital bed mattress boasts of twenty deep air bladders that are 8 inches in size. Nine of them has laser hoses that provide an air loss function in order to keep the patient comfortable and achieve fast recovery.

Drive 14029 has 8-inch deep air cells with top notch cell-on-cell design that ensures continuous, 24-hour function during a power outage. The hospital mattress' digital pump efficiently produces 8 LPM of air flow and can also be customized according to the needs of the patient. Once left on a 2-hour static mode, the pump will revert to the alternating pressure mode. Deflation is also a non-issue. With the use of the CPR valve, it only takes a mere 20 seconds to totally deflate the unit.

For added comfort, the hospital mattress also features a pillow function through 3 air cells located at the head area. There are also three diagnostic alarms that make troubleshooting easy breezy. In the event that the pressure falls below 10 mm HG, the LED and audible alarm will both be activated. Drive 14029 hospital bed mattress also has a low sheer, waterproof, vapor permeable and quilted nylon cover. It has a weight capacity of 450 pounds and comes with an 18-month limited pump and mattress warranty.
