Cone Irrigator Kit By Hollister

The Cone Irrigator Kit is an Ostomy Irrigation Accessory complete with a 1500 cc irrigator bag, stoma cone with connector, and cleaning brush to perform colostomy irrigation. It works in conjunction with an Irrigation Sleeve with Belt Tabs to collect the fluid during irrigation. The sleeve is sold separately. Always speak to your physician to get a recommendation on how often to perform this irrigation. This procedure is intended for sigmoid or descending colostomies but is not appropriate for use with urostomy or ileostomy.

The Irrigator Bag has an opening at the top to add lukewarm water. The volume graduations are easy to read to select the amount of water you want to flush. The bag is made of non-stick polyethylene material that's latex-free and has durable hole cutouts to hang the bag during the procedure. To control the flow, a regulator clamp is attached to the tubing. Make sure it's closed before beginning to flush and then adjust the flow to the desired rate. At the opposite end of the tubing is a tapered cone to place into the stoma through the sleeve to obtain a secure fit. After the bowel is empty, the irrigator sleeve empties into the toilet.

The Cone Irrigator Kit (Hollister 7721) comes with a cleaning brush and can be reused. The cone has a secure snap connector for cleaning and then is easily reattached after its completely dry.
