Hyalofill Biopolymeric Wound Dressing is used for the management of chronic diabetic, leg and pressure ulcers. Hyalofill Biopolymeric Wound Dressing delivers hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring carbohydrate component of skin, to the wound bed. Hyalofill Biopolymeric Wound Dressing forms a thick, HA-rich gel which creates conditions supportive of the healing process. Bio-compatible and biodegradable. Lasts up to 3 days in the wound environment, depending on exudate levels.

What is Hyalofill?

Hyalofill is a new advanced wound care technology. Hyalofill is a soft, conformable, and absorbent biopolymeric fleece or ribbon entirely composed of HYAFF*, an ester of hyaluronic acid.

Hyalofill provides a safe, effective, and practical way to bring relief to the frustrations of managing difficult to heal wounds. It is a primary dressing that is comfortable for the patient and easily conforms to various wound shapes.

Hyalofill-F is indicated for:

· Leg ulcers
· Pressure ulcers (Stages II-IV)
· Diabetic ulcers
· Surgical wounds (postoperative, donor sites, dermatological)
· Superficial and partial-thickness burns
· Traumatic wounds
· Abrasions, lacerations, and minor cuts

Hyalofill-R is suitable for deep exuding wounds, sinuses, and fistulae. Hyalofill may also be used on infected wounds under the supervision of a health care professional.
