AsthmaMentor’s unique features make the most of the time you have with your patients. The exclusive built-in AutoZone System automatically calculates green, yellow, and red zones when the top of the color bar is set at a patient’s personal best or predicted average PEFR. A peak flow meter allows asthma sufferers to monitor their condition daily at home. The "peak flow rate" is the maximum speed at which air can be exhaled from the lungs. Reporting peak flow meters results allow you to become an active partner with your doctor in asthma management. Features of AsthmaMentor Peak Flow Meter with AutoZone:
Built-in AutoZone System: It automatically calculates green, yellow, and red zones when the top of the color bar is set at a patient's personal best or predicted average peak expiratory flow rate.
Asthma Action Plan Sticker : The sticker provides color-coded areas where you can write your medication instructions, and it can be affixed to the back of the meter. Your instructions are then easily matched with daily peak flow readings, helping your patient comply with them.
Symptom Diary: The diary provides a place to record daily readings, zones, and changes in conditions.
Mouthpiece: Safety mouthpieces reduce the risk of cross-contamination during multi-patient screening, and the one-way valve prevents patients from inadvertently breathing in air through their meters during peak expiratory flow rate testing.
