The night splint can be effective in the treatment of a number of common foot and ankle disorders including heel pain, plantar faciitis, extensor tendonitis, sesamoditis, posterior achilles tendonitis, tibial tendonitis, peroneal tendonitis sesamoditis, Metatarsalgia metatarsal stress fractures, hallux limitus, tarsal tunnel syndrome (numbness on the bottom of the foot as well as big toe), dorsal cutaneous nerve neuritis (numbness near the top of the foot) as well shin splints.

A night splint simply can not be effective unless the patient wears it. Nowadays, there are a number of braces so comfortable you will want to leave it on all the time. The A-Force Dorsal Night Splint has been designed to secure the foot in a neutral position while sleeping, thereby helping to relieve the morning pain and the discomfort associated with Plantar Fasciitis, and may also be used for virtually almost any condition when stabilization of the ankle in a neutral position is desired.
