Mangar Eagle Lifting Cushion

The Mangar Eagle Lifting Cushion is the newest emergency patient lifting cushion added to the Mangar family. The Eagle name speaks to its smaller profile and carry load of 485 pounds in comparison to the larger Elk Lifting Cushion, which supports up to 700 pounds. The Elk's larger weight capacity makes it ideal for EMT units, retirement homes, and long-term care facilities where there is a diverse population to serve. In contrast, the Eagle's smaller weight capacity with its narrower footprint makes it ideal for homecare use, and helpful in small spaces such as a bathroom.

Best of all, it is battery- or AC-powered to inflate in any location. The inflated backrest makes one-handed operation simple and it doesn't require a trained healthcare worker to operate.

How Does the Eagle Work?
The inflatable cushion slides under the person who needs to be lifted. The remote inflates the individual cushions and backrest to slowly position the person from a flat position to a seated position. Once in the seated position, the person can stand up if they're able to do so, or the caregiver can assist the individual to their feet.
