• Waterproof barrier — prevents external liquids from reaching the wound or IV site; patients may shower with dressing in place (waterproof cover over dressing and IV site recommended during showering)

• 9546HP (4 x 4-1/2") — The larger central line and general wound coverage size. Includes a pre-printed document label to record dressing change date and time — useful for protocol tracking. Box of 50.
• 9548HP (4 x 4-1/2" Sacral/Oval) — Same high-adhesion HP formula in an oval sacral shape designed specifically for the sacral area and other difficult-to-dress anatomical locations where rectangular dressings don't conform well.

Application Instructions

1. Prepare the skin — clean and dry the site thoroughly before application
2. Open the sterile package and remove the dressing without touching the adhesive surface
3. Position the dressing over the IV site or wound using the picture-frame backing for accurate placement
4. Press from center outward to smooth and secure — ensure full adhesive contact
5. Remove the frame backing after the dressing is positioned and adhered
6. Monitor the site regularly — check for signs of infection, dressing lift, or adhesive failure
7. If showering, use a waterproof cover over the dressing and IV site
8. Change at 7 days maximum or sooner if the dressing lifts, becomes saturated, or clinical protocol requires
