Return & Warranty Policy

At Medical Department Store, our goal is to ensure every customer feels confident in their purchase. We stand behind the quality of our home medical equipment and are committed to clear, fair return and warranty guidelines.

🔍 Damaged or Defective Products

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 3 business days of receipt. We will coordinate a replacement at no charge and cover all applicable shipping costs. Do not discard original packaging until the issue is resolved — photos of the damage are helpful when reporting.

📦 Returns

• Items must be unused and returned in original packaging.
• A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be requested within 10 days of delivery.
• Returns must be completed within 30 days of receipt.
• Returns received without an RMA may be refused or subject to restocking and return shipping fees.

⚠️ Restocking Fees & Non-Returnable Items

Approved returns may be subject to an 18–40% restocking fee depending on the product category and condition. For health and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned, including:

• Hygiene and personal care products
• Custom or special-order items
• Items not in original, unopened condition
• Products that have been used or fitted

💳 Refunds

Once a returned item is received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method, less any applicable restocking or shipping fees. Processing times vary by payment type. You will be notified by email when your refund has been processed.

✕ Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at 1-866-218-0902. Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled and will need to follow the standard return process. Cancellation fees may apply to special-order or custom items regardless of ship status.
