The Harmar AL001 Universal Outside Carrier is a fully manual, hitch-mounted platform that carries scooters, power chairs, and manual wheelchairs on the outside rear of your vehicle — no power source required. Its oversized 28" × 48" platform accommodates virtually any mobility device without modifications, and the 60" folding ramp makes loading and unloading straightforward. When not in use, the entire unit folds flat to stay out of the way.
The AL001 is ideal for caregivers or users with enough mobility to operate the ramp independently. Because there is no motor, there's nothing electrical to maintain — just a sturdy steel platform that gets the job done.
