How PolyMem Film Dot Works — Four Functions in One
Most wound dressings do one thing — cover and absorb. PolyMem's patented polymeric membrane technology does four things continuously throughout the dressing change interval. The QuadraFoam® hydrogel pad in the center of the Film Dot releases a mild non-toxic cleanser activated by wound moisture — continuously cleaning the wound bed without manual scrubbing at every change. It gently expands to fill wound depth and contours. It wicks away exudate — up to ten times its weight — keeping the wound bed appropriately moist without becoming waterlogged. And glycerol in the membrane moistens and soothes traumatized tissue, actively reducing wound pain throughout wear.

How to Apply
- Clean wound per facility protocol or as directed by a physician
- Use the patented tab system to position the dressing over the wound without touching the pad surface
- Press the film border gently to adhere to surrounding skin
- Leave in place for up to 7 days — the built-in visual indicator will show when a change is needed
- Remove gently — the film border releases cleanly without trauma to the wound bed
- If infection is present, treat appropriately before applying

- Cloth Dot — Breathable, adhesive-coated cloth backing. Softer and more conformable. Best for sensitive or fragile skin where the rigid feel of film may cause discomfort
