Medihoney Hydrocolloid Dressing Honeycolloid is a unique form of dressings made of Manuka honey, highly effective in healing burns and wounds of various types. It has the potential to heal even when fluid is discharged from the wounds. These dressings can be applied to diabetic ulcers, leg ulcers, surgical and traumatic wounds, skin tears, pressure ulcers and part/full thickness wounds as it has been designed to absorb moderate pus. The adhesive types of this dressing are suitable for skin tears and pressure ulcers while the non-adhesive types for jamming up the full/partial thickness wounds. .It is available in adhesive and non-adhesive versions, both of which absorb light to moderate amounts of exudate.
