With 160 individual inflatable cells, the FlapCair LAL Cellular Support Mattress from Joerns Healthcare far exceeds the industry standard by providing maximum pressure relief and pain management to those requiring longer-term bed stays. Fully internal air circulation ensures true low air loss while individual inflation of cells allows for precise control over when and where pressure is applied. Low air loss has been shown to effecitvely alleviate pain, reduce secondary infections, and provide customized treatment. This system features three modes of operation: Autofirm, Pulsate, and Therapy.These modes automate the most common patient pressure needs, allowing caregivers more flexibility to assist the patient in other capacities.
This system provides optimal pressure redistribution that helps to treat and prevent pressure wounds and ulcers. It also has an antimicrobial therapy pad that defends against the growth of harmful bacteria, mold, and mildew.
