How Solosite Works — and What Makes It Different

Most hydrogel wound gels thin out and migrate away from the wound bed as they absorb exudate. Solosite behaves differently — its water-swellable polymer absorbs fluid and swells in place, maintaining its gel structure throughout the dressing change interval. This means the gel stays active against necrotic tissue longer, requires fewer changes, and maintains a consistent moisture environment at the wound surface rather than running off. How to Apply

• Cleanse the wound with saline or an appropriate wound cleanser and pat dry
• Apply Solosite Gel to cover the entire wound bed approximately 5mm thick
• Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing — gauze, foam, or transparent film
• Change the dressing daily or as directed by a physician
• To remove: irrigate gently with saline — no mechanical scrubbing required
• For sunburn: reapply regularly to prevent the wound from drying out
• For best results: smear on, do not rub in
• External use only — do not use in or near eyes
