Transcend Micro™ Auto CPAP
/
The Transcend Micro 510 is the world's smallest auto-adjusting travel CPAP machine — 0.48 lb and smaller than a soda can, without sacrificing therapy quality or comfort features. Auto-adjusting APAP pressure, GentleRise ramp, and exhalation relief deliver the same therapeutic performance as full-size machines. AirMist waterless HME humidification, WhisperSoft muffler, hard shell travel case, 6ft TransFlex hose, and dual filters are all included standard. Bluetooth MySleepDash app provides detailed therapy data and in-app comfort adjustments. TSA/FAA compliant. Made and assembled in the USA. 3-year warranty — the longest in portable CPAP. Available in 4 colors. Prescription required.

AirMist Waterless Humidification — How It Works
The Mechanism
AirMist uses Heat Moisture Exchange (HME) technology — the same principle used in medical ventilators for decades. When you exhale through the mask, the warm, moisture-rich air passes through the AirMist cartridge, which captures that moisture. When you inhale, the incoming therapy air passes through the same cartridge and picks up that stored moisture before reaching your airway. No water tank. No heated tubing. No filling required before bed.
Where It Works Best
AirMist HME works best with masks that connect to tubing directly in front of the face — such as the AirFit F30, AirFit F20, AirFit F10, or ComfortGelBlue style masks. It does not work effectively with masks that route tubing above the head (AirFit P30i, DreamWear series, AirTouch F30i) or masks with a short flexible tube at the front (AirFit P10, Nova Micro, AirFit F40). If you use one of these mask types, waterless humidification will not deliver meaningful benefit.
Cartridge Replacement Schedule
Each AirMist cartridge must be replaced 7 days after opening regardless of nightly use frequency. For longer trips, pack one cartridge per week of travel. The plastic housing that holds the cartridge is reusable and should be cleaned each time a new cartridge is inserted.
MySleepDash App — Therapy Data & In-App Adjustments
The free MySleepDash app (available for iOS and Android) connects to the Micro 510 via Bluetooth after each therapy session. Bluetooth is shipped disabled from the factory — enable it during initial setup to activate tracking. MySleepDash provides:
- Nightly usage data — hours of therapy per night, mask-on time, session start and stop times
- AHI tracking — apnea-hypopnea index per night with trend charting
- Pressure data — median, 95th percentile, and peak pressure statistics
- Shareable reports — export and send therapy reports directly to your physician or sleep clinic from the app
- In-app comfort adjustments — ramp time, ramp start pressure, exhalation relief intensity — without needing a Windows PC or advanced software
Note: Advanced therapy parameter changes (pressure range limits, clinical settings) require the free Transcend MiniCPAP Software for Windows PC. MySleepDash handles comfort adjustments; MiniCPAP Software handles clinical configuration.
Dual Filter System — Standard & Hypoallergenic
The Micro 510 includes two filter types for the same machine, giving users the option to choose based on their environment and sensitivity:
- Woven Filter (pre-installed) — standard filter that captures typical airborne particles; appropriate for most users and environments
- Hypoallergenic Filter (included) — finer filtration that captures smaller allergens including dust mites, pollen, and fine particulates; recommended for allergy-prone travelers, dusty environments, or hotel rooms where air quality is uncertain
Both filters are specific to the Micro 510 and are not compatible with the original Transcend Micro 310. Replace either filter every 1–3 months depending on environmental conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — the Transcend Micro 510 is an FDA-regulated CPAP machine (HCPCS E0601) and requires a valid prescription from a licensed physician before it can be shipped. You can upload your prescription during checkout. If you need a new or renewed prescription, speak with your sleep physician or consider a home sleep test to obtain a diagnosis and prescription.
The Micro 510 (2026) improves on the Micro 310 with: three new color options (Petal Pink, Midnight Blue, Birch White in addition to Graphite Gray); a redesigned more-flexible TransFlex hose; AirMist HME waterless humidification included as standard (previously required separate purchase); a new dual-filter system with both a standard woven filter and a hypoallergenic filter included; an included hard shell travel case; and an extended 3-year warranty (up from 2 years). The two machines use different filters — they are not interchangeable. If you have a 310, the 510's filters will not fit your machine.
The Micro 510 does not have a built-in heated humidifier with a water chamber. It is compatible with the included AirMist HME waterless humidification cartridge, which captures exhaled moisture and recycles it into the incoming therapy air. Waterless humidification is not as effective as heated humidification in very dry or cold climates, but is significantly more convenient for travel since there is no water to carry, fill, or clean. Note that AirMist does not work with overhead-tube masks (P30i, DreamWear) or short front-tube masks (P10, F40).
Yes — the Transcend Micro 510 is TSA and FAA compliant and cleared for carry-on and in-flight use. It does not need to be removed from your bag for TSA screening (though you may be asked to remove it from its case for X-ray). For in-flight use, check with your airline regarding their specific CPAP in-flight policy, as some require advance notification. The machine runs on AC power out of the box; the optional PowerAway Battery provides off-grid operation for flights without power outlets.
The Micro 510 works with most standard CPAP masks that use a 22mm tubing connection — the universal standard for full-face, nasal, and most nasal pillow masks. No adapter is required. It is not compatible with masks designed specifically for the ResMed AirMini (AirMini setup pack masks using the AirMini HumidX). If you use an overhead-tube mask like the AirFit P30i or DreamWear, the machine will work for therapy but the AirMist waterless humidification will not be effective with those mask styles.
Basic comfort settings — ramp time, ramp start pressure, and exhalation relief intensity — can be adjusted directly through the MySleepDash app on your phone after enabling Bluetooth during initial setup. Advanced clinical settings (pressure range limits, therapy mode changes) require the free Transcend MiniCPAP Software, which is available for Windows PCs only. The MySleepDash app handles the adjustments most users need without requiring a computer.
Each AirMist HME cartridge must be replaced every 7 days after opening, regardless of how many nights it has been used. If you open a cartridge on Monday, replace it the following Monday. For travel, pack one cartridge per week of your trip. The AirMist plastic housing (the reusable adapter) should be cleaned each time you insert a new cartridge and replaced every 3–6 months.
Yes — CPAP machines are eligible for FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) reimbursement. Save your receipt and submit to your benefits administrator for reimbursement per your plan's guidelines.
