About Penile Vibratory Stimulation
Penile vibratory stimulation (PVS) works by applying mechanical vibration to the glans penis at specific frequencies and amplitudes — within the 70–110 Hz range and at amplitudes up to 4.0mm — that clinical research has established as the threshold for activating the penile sensory nerve pathways responsible for erection and ejaculation. ⚠ Autonomic Dysreflexia Warning — SCI Users at T6 and Above
Men with SCI at T6 and above are at risk for autonomic dysreflexia (AD) — a potentially serious rapid blood pressure increase triggered by stimulation below the injury level.
