Why Triad — When Standard Dressings Won't Work

Traditional wound dressings require a relatively flat, accessible wound surface to adhere properly. Wounds near joints, in body folds, or with irregular surfaces — or wounds that are too moist for adhesive dressings to stick — are exactly where Triad excels. Its hydrophilic paste formula conforms to any shape, adheres directly to moist wound tissue, and stays in place without the need for a secondary dressing in many cases.

  • Zinc oxide base gently adheres to moist wound beds — won't lift off wet tissue
  • CMC absorbs light-to-moderate exudate and maintains optimal moisture balance
  • Autolytic action loosens dried eschar and slough — supporting the body's natural debridement process
  • Unique 4-ingredient blend conforms to irregular wound surfaces and difficult body locations
  • Can be applied directly to the wound and periwound skin without a secondary dressing
  • Zinc oxide provides a protective antibacterial layer — reduces infection risk while healing progresses
  • Dimethicone seals the wound surface without clogging — keeps out external contamination
  • Latex-free and sterile on first application — safe for sensitive patients

How to Apply

  • Clean the wound thoroughly and remove any loose debris or necrotic tissue
  • Apply Triad paste directly into or over the wound from the tube, or using a gloved finger
  • Spread evenly over the wound area to approximately the thickness of a dime
  • A secondary dressing may be applied over Triad if needed — gauze or a non-adherent cover dressing works well
  • Change frequency is determined by wound condition and exudate level — follow physician direction
  • Note: Triad may not dry completely — some light staining on linens or garments can occur
  • For professional use — consult a wound care specialist for treatment protocols
