Description

ConvaTec Aquacel Ag Adhesive Foam Dressing — Hydrofiber + Silver, Shower-Safe, 6 Sizes

The only silver foam dressing with an Aquacel Hydrofiber interface — gels on contact, kills bacteria, and stays waterproof for up to 7 days. ConvaTec Aquacel Ag Adhesive Foam Dressing is a four-layer bordered silver foam dressing that combines two proven wound care technologies in a single product — the absorptive, moisture-locking Hydrofiber interface of Aquacel Ag and the comfort and fluid handling capacity of a soft polyurethane foam pad. When wound exudate contacts the Hydrofiber interface layer, it transforms into a cohesive gel sheet that locks fluid — including bacteria and harmful wound components — within the fiber matrix through vertical wicking, preventing lateral spread and reducing maceration risk at the wound margins. The ionic silver distributed throughout the Hydrofiber layer delivers broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against wound pathogens including antibiotic-resistant organisms, while the waterproof breathable film top layer seals against bacterial and viral penetration and allows patients to shower and bathe with the dressing in place. The gentle silicone adhesive border holds securely without bonding to the wound bed — supporting painless, trauma-free removal at every dressing change.

✔ Only Silver Foam With Aquacel Hydrofiber Interface — Unique Combination Not Available Elsewhere    ✔ Gels on Contact — Locks Bacteria & Exudate Within the Fiber Matrix    ✔ Vertical Wicking — Prevents Lateral Spread, Protects Periwound Skin    ✔ Ionic Silver — Broad-Spectrum Antimicrobial Including Antibiotic-Resistant Organisms    ✔ Gentle Silicone Border — Shower-Safe, Pain-Free Removal
