Drive 14027 Med-Aire Alternating Pressure and Low Air Loss Mattress Replacement System operates in alternating and static pressure modes to effectively treat, manage and prevent pressure ulcers. The medical mattress features twenty 8-inch air bladders that can be easily removed or replaced. Nine of the air bladders have laser holes that are designed to maintain low air loss, sustain patient comfort and achieve speedy recovery.

Drive 14027 has 8-inch air cells made from a combination of durable nylon and PVC material. The hospital bed mattress boasts of a whisper-quiet, digital pump that is capable of producing 8-LPM of air flow continuously. Fast, 20-second deflation is possible through the efficient CPR valve. The medical mattress is also equipped with three diagnostic alarms that make troubleshooting easy. If the pressure falls below 10 mmHg, an audible alarm and LED will get activated.

Aside from the pillow function, the hospital mattress also has special vibration isolating features that provide patients a more comfortable and relaxing experience. The mattress cover is made from high-quality nylon material that's waterproof, vapor permeable and low sheer.
