The P903 by Drive Medical represents their premium option for Long-Term Deluxe Homecare Beds, boasting an impressive weight capacity of 600 lbs. This bed is characterized by a wide range of features and adjustability. Among the advanced positions offered by the P903 are the Auto Contour and Cardiac Comfort Chair. With the addition of the optional staff control, users can also achieve Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positions. A synchronized Hi/Lo control system ensures the bed remains level, enhancing user comfort and positioning. For nighttime safety, an under bed night light is included, allowing caregivers to provide care without disturbing the user’s sleep. The bed is available in three frame lengths: 80”, 84”, and 88”. Additionally, the integrated widths can be adjusted at the push of a button, ranging from 36” to 39” to 42”.

Moving the P903 is a breeze, thanks to its four dual 3” heavy-duty caster wheel sets. The design also allows the bed to be rolled at any height, unlike many other beds that must be locked at a specific height for mobility. A color-coded dual pedal floor lock system ensures the bed remains securely in place when engaged. The bed features four DC motors that work in unison within a Hi/Lo control system to maintain a level position. A 10-function backlit handheld pendant control provides independent positioning for both the head and foot sections. Notably, the P903 achieves one of the lowest bed height settings for deluxe homecare beds at just 7”, facilitating easier and safer transfers while reducing the risk of falls. The bed can elevate to 30”, making it much easier and more efficient for attendants to assist users.
