Eagle Health · 70311
400 lbs · 9.75" Slide
HCPCS E0247
The Eagle Health Pro-Slide Transfer Bench with Cut-Out (70311) solves the most common transfer failure point — the moment of physically moving from outside the tub to inside it. Instead of scooting, straining, or being lifted, the user sits on the bench outside the tub and glides smoothly across 9.75 inches of polished aluminum rail into the shower or tub — seated and safe the entire way. Specially designed sliding rings lock the seat in position at each end of the rails so the bench cannot slide unexpectedly during the transfer. The cut-out seat allows for easier personal cleaning while the user is secured with the included safety belt. 400 lb capacity. Height adjustable. No tools to assemble. Configures for right or left entry.

How the Pro-Slide Works — 4 Steps
1
Position the bench
One end of the bench sits outside the tub, the other end inside — spanning the tub wall. Adjust height to match the tub wall clearance (up to 18.5").
2
Sit outside the tub
The user sits on the outer seat position — no tub stepping required. The locking ring holds the seat securely in the outer position.
3
Glide across
The seat slides smoothly along the polished aluminum rails 9.75 inches — moving the user from outside to inside the tub without lifting, scooting, or straining.
4
Lock and shower
The locking ring engages at the inner end. Secure the safety belt. Shower safely — the bench provides a stable seated platform throughout. Exit by reversing the sequence.
The Cut-Out Seat — What It Does
The wide cut-out in the seat serves one specific purpose: it allows the user (or a caregiver) to clean the perineal area while the user is seated on the bench, without the seat surface blocking access. This is a meaningful hygiene improvement for users who cannot stand during cleaning and who use the bench for their entire bathing session.
⚠️ Important: The cut-out seat on the 70311 is designed for personal cleaning access only — it is
not designed for over-the-toilet use. Do not position this bench over a toilet. The seat is secured with a safety belt strap during use. If over-toilet use is needed, call us to discuss the appropriate product:

Left or Right Entry — Configurable
Right-Entry Configuration
The handlebar side panel installs on the right side of the bench — the user approaches and transfers from the right. Choose this if the user's accessible entry to the tub is from the right, or if the toilet or wall on the right side of the tub creates the natural approach path.
Left-Entry Configuration
The handlebar side panel installs on the left side — the user approaches and transfers from the left. Choose this if the user's approach to the tub is naturally from the left, or if the bathroom layout makes left-side entry more practical. No additional hardware required — same bench, different assembly orientation.
How to determine entry direction: Stand at the tub edge looking into the tub. If you would step in with your right foot first (approaching from the right), choose right-entry. If left foot first, choose left-entry. Call us if you'd like to talk through your specific bathroom layout:

Key Features
Specially-Designed Locking Sliding Rings
The sliding rings lock the seat at each end of the rails — the inner end (tub position) and the outer end (outside-tub position). The seat cannot drift or slide unexpectedly while the user is seated. This is the critical safety feature of the Pro-Slide system: the smooth glide is safe because the locked position at each end is secure.
Polished High-Strength Aluminum Rails
The seat slides along polished aluminum tubes — low friction for a smooth glide, high strength to support 400 lbs through the sliding motion. Polished surface also resists soap buildup that would increase friction and make the slide harder over time.
Safety Belt Strap — Included
The adjustable safety belt strap secures the user to the bench seat during showering. Prevents forward slipping off the seat. Included standard — no additional purchase required. Adjusts to fit a range of body sizes.
Rust-Proof Aluminum Frame
The frame is aluminum throughout — no steel components that can rust in a wet bathroom environment. Rust-free construction is particularly important for a bench that sits in a wet shower/tub area daily and may be wiped down repeatedly with cleaning solutions.
Height Adjustable — 18.25" to 22.25"
The legs adjust in height to match the user's seated height and the bathtub wall clearance. Maximum tub clearance is 18.5" — verify your tub wall height before ordering. The bench must clear the tub wall to span correctly across it.
No-Tool Assembly
The bench assembles without tools — no wrench, no screwdriver. Components connect and lock without hardware that requires tightening. Setup typically takes 5–10 minutes out of the box.
Caregiver-Friendly Design
The sliding transfer eliminates the physical lifting and repositioning that standard tub transfers require. The caregiver guides the seat across the rail rather than lifting the user over the tub wall — reducing caregiver back and shoulder strain for transfers that happen daily.
400 lb Weight Capacity
Higher than most standard transfer benches (typically 250–300 lbs). The 400 lb capacity accommodates a broader range of users without needing to step up to a bariatric transfer bench.
Who the Pro-Slide Is For
Post Hip or Knee Surgery
Users in hip or knee precaution periods who cannot step over a tub wall. The Pro-Slide eliminates the step-over completely — the user is seated throughout the transfer and never steps over anything.
Wheelchair and Walker Users
The bench positions at the same height as a wheelchair seat — allowing a slide transfer directly from the wheelchair to the bench without a standing pivot. The 9.75" slide then moves the user into the tub without lifting.
Users with Balance or Fall Risk
For anyone whose physician or physical therapist has flagged tub entry as a fall risk. The Pro-Slide removes the single highest-risk moment of the bathing routine — stepping over the tub wall — entirely.
Caregiver-Assisted Bathing
For care situations where a caregiver assists with bathing. The slide mechanism replaces a physical lift, reducing caregiver injury risk and making the daily transfer routine more sustainable for both the caregiver and the user.
⚠️ Before Ordering — Measure Your Tub
⚠️ Verify your tub wall height before ordering — this bench is non-returnable.
The maximum tub wall clearance for the 70311 is 18.5". Measure the height of your tub wall from the floor to the top of the tub rim. If your tub wall is taller than 18.5", this bench will not span correctly and will not function as intended.
Also verify the bench base length (33"–34") fits your tub entry without interfering with walls, toilet, or fixtures on either side.
