The FAWSsit SS4040 Super Standard Portable Shower is the roomier version of the original FAWSsit roll-in wheelchair shower. At 42" × 42", it adds 6" of width and depth over the S2000 — enough for a standard wheelchair with footrests, users with leg or foot extension needs, and users up to about 300 lbs. Like every FAWSsit, it's a complete, private shower stall that sets up anywhere near a sink with no remodeling or tools. The sides swing open, the reinforced vinyl drain pan drops into place, and the user rolls in on a shower/commode chair. A support arm lowers to form the fourth side of the pan, and the privacy curtain can close for independent bathing or stay open so a caregiver can assist and stay dry. Water comes from any standard sink faucet, and a frame-mounted, UL-tested pump removes water from the pan as fast as it flows in and sends it down the sink — so the user can roll right out when the shower is done. The anodized aluminum frame ships fully assembled, weighs 31 lbs, and folds flat for storage. A practical choice for renters, seniors, and hospice care — at a fraction of the cost of a remodel.
