The Harmar AL105 Swing-Away Bracket is the standard swing-away option for Harmar outside lifts — the version that fits every Harmar outside lift in the lineup, including heavy-duty HD models. At a 400 lb capacity rating and ~38 lbs installed, it handles the full range of Harmar hitch-mount lifts without restriction. When the lift is unloaded and folded, pull the easy-grip handle to release the latch and pivot the entire lift assembly aside — trunk, liftgate, and tailgate access restored instantly. AL105 vs AL105L: The AL105 is heavier (~38 lb) but rated to 400 lbs and compatible with every Harmar outside lift including HD models. The AL105L is lighter (25 lb) but limited to 350 lbs and not suitable for HD lifts. If you have an HD lift (AL300HD, AL301XLHD, AL500HD, AL580-HDX, AL425HD), the AL105 is required. If you have a standard lift and prefer less weight to pivot, the AL105L is the right choice.
