The Otter Pediatric Bath Chair by Inspired by Drive is a clinical-grade bathing chair designed to provide safe, supported bathing for children with complex positioning needs. The Otter family covers four sizes from infant/toddler (Small, up to 36" user height, 60 lbs) through adolescent/young adult (XL, up to 72" user height, 250 lbs) — with angle-adjustable seating, machine-washable fabric, slip-resistant legs, and a fold-flat design for storage and travel. Optional lateral supports, tub stands, and wheeled shower stands allow the Otter to be configured for each child's specific environment and clinical requirements.

Key Features
Angle-Adjustable Seat and Backrest
Both the seat and backrest adjust to individual positioning angles — accommodating different postural needs, tone management requirements, and comfort preferences. This is the primary clinical feature that distinguishes the Otter from basic bath chairs.
Slip-Resistant Adjustable Legs
All four legs have slip-resistant tips for secure placement on tub and shower surfaces. Legs adjust to raise the chair an additional 7" — accommodating different tub depths and caregiver height requirements to reduce bending strain during bathing.
Adjustable Lateral Supports (Optional)
Height and width adjustable lateral supports can be configured to provide head support or trunk support as clinically required. Available as optional accessories (OT 8000 standard / OT 8000 SF soft fabric). Positioned after the base chair is sized and fitted.
Leg Straps
Leg straps control hip abduction and adduction during bathing — keeping the child positioned safely and reducing the risk of sliding. Adjustable positioning straps provide additional security throughout the bathing process.
Folds Flat
The Otter folds flat for storage between uses and for transport — fitting in a vehicle trunk or closet without disassembly. Useful for families who travel with the chair or need to store it out of the way.
Machine-Washable Fabric
The fabric sling removes from the Otter frame and is machine-washable — an essential feature for a bathing product used daily with children. Reduces the hygiene maintenance burden compared to chairs with non-removable fabric.

OT 8020
Shower Stand
Wheeled base that allows the Otter to be used in roll-in shower configurations. The wheeled base rolls the chair into position and locks in place. Required for shower-only environments without a tub. Also enables easier repositioning during bathing.
