Invacare's Matrx Elite Deep Back takes the excellent functionality and construction of the Matrx Elite Back and adds lateral supports for optimal trunk support. Clearance for the shoulders and hips is not an issue with this smart design.
The outer cover uses oversized foam for a cover/back that is moisture-resistant and breathable. Its design provides extra comfort as well as skin protection. The contoured back shell is both stylish and lightweight, with lateral trunk supports that don't hinder shoulder or hip clearance. Finally the back features removable lumbo-sacral support that is also adjustable, allowing the user to find a position that is right for them.
The Elite Deep Back installs and adjusts in minutes thanks to "Easy Set" hardware. Adjustments can even be made while the user is already seated in the wheelchair, making this seat back an extremely convenient and versatile option for your wheelchair.
Invacare's Matrx Elite Deep Back comes in a wide variety of sizes, with heights ranging from 12" to 20" and widths from 14" - 20". It features 4" of depth adjustment (2" in front or behind back canes) and a 40º angle adjustment (+/- 20º). The back has a weight capacity of 300 lbs and comes with a 2 year warranty.
