Invacare PBD Matrx PB Deep Back
Invacare's Matrx PB Deep Back features a contoured design in a variety of sizes and forms to provide increased midline support and comfort for a wide range of users with moderate to maximum lateral trunk positioning needs.Made with molded Ultra-Fresh foam, the Matrx PB Deep Back carries antibacterial and odor protection for a clean, pleasant seat back. The foam wraps around the back shell for optimal comfort and protection from accidental injury; it attaches to the back shell via hook and loop strips, making replacement a simple process. A moisture-resistant, breathable outer cover protects the foam.
Installation and adjustment is a quick, easy process thanks to the "Easy Set" Hardware. Adjustments can then be made while the individual is seated in the wheelchair, and allows the back to be easily removed and replaced.
Completing the Matrx PB Deep Back is the contoured back shell. Durable and lightweight, this ABS shell provides optimal midline support and positioning. It includes a built-in plate for an optional headrest attachment, and Heavy Duty models feature an aluminum back shell.
Invacare's Matrx PB Deep Back comes in standard and Heavy Duty varieties, with 14 sizes for the standard and 5 for the Heavy Duty. The standard version has a weight capacity of 300 lbs while the Heavy Duty handles up to 500 lbs. Both feature depth adjustment of 4" and angle adjustment of 40º, and both come with a two year warranty.
