Invacare's Softform Premier Mattress is designed to provide the utmost in comfort and patient support, addressing everything from pressure reduction to resident transfers.
This mattress features unique castellated cells that optimize pressure reduction, making this an excellent choice for patients with a status of Very High Risk or lower. It's made with a single piece foam "U" core, a design that facilitates resident transfer thanks to its side-wall support. This also makes for a stronger, more durable mattress than foam mattresses that use glued sections. The premium HR foam used is cut into mushroom-shaped cells, which provides pressure redistribution and top-of-the-line patient immersion.
The Softform Premier Mattress reduces the possibility of fluid ingress with a concealed zipper and the included fluid-resistant stretch polyurethane cover. This cover is fully and easily removable, making cleaning and inspection a simple task. High frequency welded seams top off the features list for this mattress.
