Invacare Standing Assist Sling, Polyester
For patients with limited mobility, transferring is a part of the everyday routine. Manual transfers, however, often result in caregiver back injury. Invacare's stand assist lifts (sold separately) were created to make handling situations safer and affordable for patients and their caregivers. Stand assist slings are designed to support patients with at least 60% weight-bearing ability in standing transfers, weight-bearing exercises, toileting, and general in-room transfer.The slings may be used to support cooperative patients weighing up to 450 pounds with head and neck control, who can sit up on the edge of the bed with or without assistance, and are able to bend the knees, ankles, and hips. Every sling consists of a solid polyester base, two strap attachment points, and a waist belt, and is compatible with Roze and Reliant 350 and 440 lifts.
Size - The sling is available in four color-coded sizes to suit almost all patients:
- Small (navy trim): measures 34.7" x 10.2"
- Medium (purple trim): measures 46.1" x 13"
- Large (green trim): measures 50.0" x 14.2"
- Extra-large (blue trim): measures 71.3" x 14.2"
