The Lumex LF1050 Battery-Powered Patient Lift by Graham Field is a full-body electric floor lift — the powered alternative to the Lumex LF1030 hydraulic lift in the same product family. Where the LF1030 requires the caregiver to manually pump for every inch of lift travel, the LF1050's 24V DC motor raises and lowers the patient at the touch of a button on the hand pendant. No pumping. The 10–12 hour battery life supports multiple daily transfers on a single charge. Six-point spreader bar with 360° rotation accommodates 2-, 4-, and 6-point slings. How the LF1050 Works

Sling the patient
Position patient in full-body sling on bed, chair, or wheelchair. Attach sling loops to the 6-point spreader bar — accepts 2-, 4-, or 6-point configurations.

Open base — foot pedal
Open base from 26" to 37.8" using the foot pedal — both hands free to manage sling and patient. 4.7" clearance slides under most standard beds.

Raise with pendant
Press UP on the ergonomic hand pendant — 24V DC motor raises patient smoothly and quietly. Rotate 360° to face the destination. No pumping required.

Lower to destination
Press DOWN to lower patient into bed, chair, wheelchair, or toilet. If power fails at any point, the manual lowering mechanism allows controlled descent. Remove sling once patient is positioned.
The Adjustable Base
Closed — 26" Wide
Close the base for doorway navigation and room-to-room movement. At 26", the LF1050 fits through standard interior doorways. Rubber-coated base legs protect wall and door frame surfaces from contact damage during maneuvering.
Open — 37.8" Wide
Open to 37.8" for transfer positioning around wheelchair leg rests, bed frames, and toilet bases. Foot pedal opens and locks the base with both caregiver hands free.

Charge overnight; lift all day.
Electric Lift — No Pumping Required
The 24V DC motor handles all lifting effort. For caregivers managing multiple daily transfers, eliminating the manual pump effort of hydraulic lifting directly reduces cumulative back, shoulder, and arm strain across the care week. The pendant up/down controls replace the hydraulic pump — one button press per lift cycle instead of 30–50 pump strokes.
6-Point Spreader Bar — 360° Rotation · 2/4/6-Point Slings
The 6-point spreader bar distributes patient weight across six attachment points and accepts any Lumex sling configuration — 2-, 4-, or 6-point. Full 360° rotation allows the caregiver to reposition the patient toward the destination without moving the lift. The bar's multiple hand-hold locations accommodate different patient arm positions.
Foot Pedal Base Opening — Both Hands Free
The base opens using a foot pedal while the caregiver's hands remain available for patient contact, sling adjustment, or lift guidance. On lifts with hand-operated base controls, one hand is tied up during base adjustment — the foot pedal eliminates that conflict at the moment when patient stability management matters most.
Emergency Stop + Manual Lowering Mechanism
The emergency stop button halts the electric motor immediately. The manual lowering mechanism on the actuator allows the caregiver to lower the patient to a safe position by hand if the battery dies or power is interrupted during a transfer — no patient left suspended. Both safety systems are accessible without tools.
Warning Beep + Visual Indicator for Low Battery
The control box provides both audible and visual low-battery alerts. The caregiver is warned before the battery reaches the level where a transfer could be interrupted — not mid-lift. The visual indicator on the control box is readable in dim bedroom lighting where audible signals alone may be insufficient.
