The 80.3" maximum is the LF1030's primary clinical advantage. For caregivers managing patients on adjustable Hi-Lo hospital beds — which can raise sleeping surfaces to 30"–36" — a lift that tops out at 64" may not clear the bed frame at its highest position. The LF1030's 80.3" maximum reaches above any standard Hi-Lo bed. The 27.4" minimum is appropriate for patients in a chair, wheelchair, or standard height bed — but users requiring floor lifts (patient lying on the floor) may prefer the Invacare 9805P, which reaches down to 20".

Blue Powder-Coated · Standard
The base model — full LF1030 specs in a blue powder-coated finish. Manual cam-lock base adjustment. Same lifting range and capacity as the LF1031 and LF1031FP. Good choice for home care environments where a distinctive color makes the lift easy to identify.
LF1031
Black/Silver Vein Hammertone · Standard
Identical specs to the LF1030 — same lifting range, capacity, and base — in a black/silver vein hammertone finish. The hammertone finish is more common in facility environments. Manual cam-lock base adjustment.
LF1031FP
Black/Silver · Foot Pedal Base
The foot pedal version — base opens and closes via foot pedal rather than manual cam-lock. Frees the caregiver's hands during base adjustment, which matters during transfers when both hands may be needed to stabilize the patient or sling. Slightly different overall dimensions than LF1030/LF1031.
How the Hydraulic Lift Works

Sling patient
Position patient in the appropriate Lumex sling while in bed, chair, or wheelchair. Attach sling loops to the 6-point spreader bar — all six attachment points engaged for 2-, 4-, or 6-point configurations.

Position lift
Open base to 43" using cam-lock (LF1030/1031) or foot pedal (LF1031FP). Roll lift over patient — 5.5" floor clearance, 24.6" closed base width navigates through doorways. Position spreader bar directly over patient.

Pump to raise
Caregiver operates the ergonomically positioned hydraulic pump handle to raise the spreader bar. Patient lifts smoothly. Rotate 360° to reposition over the destination — no side-to-side sway during rotation.

Release valve to lower
Release the hydraulic valve to lower patient controllably into the destination position. Lift range tops at 80.3" — clearing Hi-Lo hospital beds at maximum height. Remove sling once patient is positioned.
The Adjustable Base
Closed — 24.6" Wide
Close the base for navigating through doorways, hallways, and tight spaces between furniture. At 24.6" closed, the LF1030 fits through standard interior doorways. Close before wheeling the lift between rooms.
Open — 43" Wide
Open base for transfer. At 43", the base straddles most wheelchair leg rests and standard bed frames — the widest open base in the hydraulic lift category. Open before initiating any sling transfer.

The LF1030's 80.3" maximum spreader bar height clears Hi-Lo hospital beds at their highest position, bariatric beds with elevated frames, and elevated transfer surfaces that shorter-reach hydraulic lifts cannot serve. Six-Point Spreader Bar — 360° Rotation
The six-point spreader bar distributes patient weight across all six attachment points — a more even load distribution than four-point bars. Accepts Lumex 2-point, 4-point, and 6-point slings. Full 360° rotation during the transfer allows repositioning toward the destination without sway.
Ergonomic Pump Handle Placement
The hydraulic pump handle is positioned ergonomically on the lift mast — accessible to caregivers of a broad range of heights without requiring the caregiver to bend, crouch, or over-reach during pumping. Reduces the repetitive strain risk of repeated daily hydraulic lifts.
