Milliken Silver AFM Ag Antimicrobial Wound Dressing incorporates two patented technologies, Active Fluid Management (AFM) and SelectSilver with sustained release silver ion technology. Pumping action of AFM Ag keeps the wound evenly moist, but not wet. Key attribute of the Silver design is the hydrophilicity of each layer. Because the Transfer Layer is more hydrophilic than the Protection Layer, exudate will migrate vertically through each layer and away from the wound bed.
