Lumex Ortho-Biotic II Clinical Recliner
The Ortho-Biotic Clinical Recliner has been designed for use in a wide variety of healthcare environments. In addition to being comfortable and supportive, the chair has many features for application in your medical facility. For example, the chair is completely mobile with a handrail on the back, casters on the bottom, and a footplate underneath the chair. The chair can be used as an alternative relaxation place or even for therapeutic uses.A beautifully designed clinical recliner that can be used for therapy and treatment administering or just simple relaxation is supportive, comfortable, and functional, which makes it perfect for use in healthcare facilities.

Additionally, there is a Trendelenburg Pedal on the right side of the chair that activates the Trendelenburg position right away. Underneath the chair is a pull-out foot plate designed for comfort and extra safety during transport. The plate can easily be pulled out when it needs to be used and slid back underneath the chair when it is not needed.
The seat and back portions of the recliner are filled with composite foam and topped with a 1 layer of visco-elastic foam for additional comfort. For mobility, the Ortho-Biotic has four Tente swivel casters that have been specifically designed for use in healthcare settings. Three of the casters have the ability to lock to keep the chair secure while being used stationery. There is also a directional lock caster that improves the tracking during patient transport.
