This system is perfect for home care or long-term care environments, as it helps prevent, treat, and heal pressure injuries. It includes a control unit that operates on 10-minute alternating cycles and has a static mode (#14360-B). Users can adjust the comfort level using a control dial (#14360-B) and advanced digital controls (#14360-P), allowing for a personalized experience. The system features 20 air cells that provide excellent immersion and help redistribute pressure, along with a pillow for head support, an 8" firm foam edge for easy access and patient transfers, and a 3" foam base.The air cells are removable and 5" deep, making maintenance simple with quick disconnects. The PreserveTech cover is designed to be machine washable, fluid-resistant, low-shear, vapor permeable, and treated to resist microbes. It is also compatible with disinfectants listed in the user manual, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
For added safety, the mattress comes with audio and visual alarms that alert users to low air pressure. It also features a CPR valve for quick deflation and EZ Lock/Quick Release tubing, making it easy to disconnect when needed.
