Protekt® Aire 6000AB Alternating Pressure & Low Air Loss Mattress
The Proteckt Aire combines low air loss and alternating pressure therapies in one system.
Alternating pressure mattresses are specifically engineered to offer pressure relief for individuals who spend extended periods in a hospital bed and are at a moderate risk of developing bedsores. They achieve this by alternately inflating and deflating air cells, simulating the natural movement of a patient's body. The Protekt® Aire 6000AB is the top choice among clinicians for treating stage I-IV pressure ulcers.
But there's more to it. The low air loss feature ensures that the skin remains cool and dry. This remarkable combination of low air loss and alternating pressure therapies creates an unmatched surface for pressure redistribution.
The unique cell-on-cell design of the Protekt® Aire 6000AB mattress includes a one-way valve that retains air in the 4" cells during a power outage. Additionally, its raised side air bolsters enhance safety by preventing patient roll-out and reducing the risk of entrapment, while the CPR valve allows for quick deflation of the mattress.
