Application Guide

1. Position the abduction cushion at waist/hip level with the contoured end toward the elbow. For left arm: flip cushion so the contoured end is at the back of the elbow, then reattach the arm sling to the cushion.
2. Place the forearm into the arm envelope with the elbow at a 90° angle. The sling envelope should extend to the knuckles to support the arm, wrist, and hand.
3. Secure the forearm and thumb straps.
4. Slide the shoulder ring over the non-injured shoulder and position it comfortably against the torso.
5. Wrap the waist strap around the patient's back and secure at the front.
6. Adjust and trim straps as needed to achieve proper fit. Trim excess strap length once fit is confirmed.

To size down for smaller patients: remove the forearm and thumb straps from the sling envelope, disengage shoulder strap quick-release buckles, and fold the envelope back into itself to engage the hook squares on the inner edge before reassembling.

Removal: Detach quick-release buckles, remove forearm strap, thumb strap, and waist belt. Slowly remove the brace.

Cleaning: Hand wash in water no warmer than 86°F (30°C) with mild soap. Air dry. Do not iron, tumble dry, or bleach.
