The Mantis Power Chair by Zip'r Mobility combines the traditional qualities of a mid-wheel drive power wheelchair with unique seating options that maximize your comfort. The 10" drive wheel and multiple caster systems give you the confidence to maneuver your power chair around obstacles and tight turning areas. The Mantis comes standard with a Captain's Seat style, providing you additional support for your head and shoulders.Other features such as the electromagnetic braking system, the programmable controller and your choice of base colors makes the Mantis Power Chair an excellent option when choosing the right mid-wheel drive chair for you.
The Zip'r Mantis has a seat elevator option that makes it unique in functionality. For an upgrade, you can control your seat height by just the touch of a joystick. The seat elevator allows you to increase your seat height an additional 5", allowing you to find your ideal positioning for longer use.
The Mantis Power Chair has been designed and includes features to provide increased user safety. There are both front and rear casters that provide six-point contact with the ground. These 6" casters offer a greater overall stability when you are turning corners or riding over an uneven surface. Flat-free tires also assure you that your drive wheels won't suddenly go flat and leave you stranded.
