ConvaTec Aquacel Hydrofiber Sterile Wound Dressing is a soft, non-woven pad or ribbon dressing that offers the unique gelling action of Hydrofiber technology that absorbs and locks in exudate and bacteria. This versatile primary wound dressing is for use on moderate to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds including diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, and traumatic wounds.It is made up of 100% Sodium Carboxymethyl-cellulose and converts to a soft gel when in contact with wound exudate, which maintains a moist wound environment that supports the body's healing process.
