The PressureGuard Custom Care surface offers effective, non-powered pressure redistribution, making it perfect for patients who need to remain in bed for extended periods. This surface features a zoned outer shell designed to reduce shear, encasing a reactive chamber support system. Its thoughtful design ensures a comfortable experience while managing pressure, minimizing shear, and providing ease of use.This therapeutic surface is engineered to respond to changes in weight distribution. It contains a network of interconnected longitudinal support chambers that adjust to pressure variations on the surface. As the user shifts their weight or changes position, these chambers deflate, redistribute air, and vent accordingly, ensuring continuous support.
The interior design is complemented by a cover and outer shell that enhance patient comfort and health. The anti-microbial, bi-directional stretch cover is made from durable, cleanable fabric that resists damage from bleach and other cleaning agents. With a polycarbonate-fortified coating, the cover can be washed and disinfected easily. It is also fluidproof yet allows vapor to escape, reducing moisture buildup on the skin for a healthier environment.
