Sand Ballast (Customer Provides)

The ballast tank on the lift base can be filled with 650 lbs of sand that the customer purchases locally. The sand version saves on shipping cost (the tank ships empty) and allows the buyer to source sand from any home improvement store or pool supply shop. The tank is filled on-site. 650 lbs of sand fills the tank to the capacity needed for safe 350 lb lifting. If relocating the lift frequently and wanting to empty/refill at different locations, the sand version offers that flexibility — though managing 650 lbs of sand is a meaningful logistical consideration.

Portable — Tips Back and Rolls

When not in use or when repositioning is needed, the Portable Pro 2 tips back onto its rolling base.
