The Splash! Spa uses the same LiftOperator Intelligent Controller and medical-grade LINAK screw/spline actuator as the rest of the Splash! series — the same control system found in medical lifting applications worldwide. Key operational characteristics:

• Programmable stop height — the controller is configured (during installation, based on your Deck Profile data) to stop at the correct spa entry height for your specific wall dimension; the user does not have to judge the right stopping point
• Safe stop at any position — the LINAK actuator holds position at any point in the travel range; releasing the control or a power interruption mid-motion stops and holds the seat rather than allowing it to drop
• User-operable waterproof handset — the user controls the full lift cycle from the seat; no staff assistance required for ADA-compliant independent operation

Semi-Portable — Remove for Storage or Events

The Splash! Spa removes from its deck anchor without tools or hardware modification. The anchor socket remains in the deck; the lift body lifts out. Uses for this portability:

• Winter storage — facilities in freeze-prone climates (and MDS customers with northern properties or seasonal second homes) can remove the lift and store it indoors when the spa is closed for the season

Warranty

• Frame — 3-year limited: S.R. Smith warrants the frame against defects in material and workmanship for 3 years. Powder coat paint finish is excluded — surface scratching with normal use is expected and not covered.
• Electronics and motor — 2-year full: All electronic and motor components (excluding batteries) have full 2-year coverage. S.R. Smith will repair or replace any component found defective within the warranty period.

Yes — the Splash! Spa is semi-portable and removes from the deck anchor without tools. The anchor stays in the deck; the lift body stores indoors. This is a significant advantage for seasonal spa facilities and northern second-home owners.

Does this need to be plugged in to operate?

No — the Splash! Spa runs on a 24V rechargeable battery included with the lift. No hardwired electrical connection near the water is required. Charge the battery via the included charger between sessions.
