The Harmar AL301XLHD Heavy Duty Extra Large Fusion Lift is Harmar's most capable exterior platform lift — the largest platform and the highest capacity in the entire Harmar outside lift lineup. It takes the AL301XL's oversized 36" × 39" Stars-N-Stripes platform (with optional adjustable cradles extending to 53") and pairs it with a heavy-duty motor rated to 400 lbs — making it the only Harmar exterior lift that delivers maximum platform size and maximum weight capacity together. Designed for bariatric power chairs, large heavy-duty scooters, and any device too wide, too long, or too heavy for any other Harmar exterior lift. The AL301XLHD requires a Class III hitch — Class II is not sufficient. The lift accommodates devices up to 400 lbs with a wheelbase up to 48". Every other Harmar exterior lift makes you choose between a large platform or a high weight capacity — the AL301XLHD delivers both at once. The 36" wide by 39" long platform with cradles extending to 53" is the largest footprint available in the Harmar lineup. The 400 lb capacity motor handles bariatric power chairs and heavy-duty scooters that exceed the limits of every other model. For users whose device is both large and heavy, this is the only Harmar lift that doesn't require a compromise.
4 Q'Straint Retractors · Front & Rear Cradles · No Modifications
The same proven self-tensioning Q'Straint retractor system used across the entire Fusion family — four retractors that hook to standard frame points on virtually any power chair or scooter, with no drilling or device modification required. Internal spring tension automatically maintains correct hold for highway travel. Front and rear wheel cradles lock the device in place on the extra-wide platform. The combination of the four-point retractor system and front/rear cradles gives the AL301XLHD one of the most secure hold setups in the exterior lift category.

The AL301XLHD requires a Class III hitch receiver — the heavy-duty motor and 400 lb load demand the additional tongue weight rating that only a Class III provides. The AL301XLHD has a 400 lb capacity at 102 lbs installed, using a heavier-duty motor and actuator.
