About Ostomy Accessories

Ostomy accessories support every stage of the pouching routine — from skin preparation before application to odor control during wear to clean removal and disposal. Odor eliminators such as Hollister M9 drops are added directly to the pouch to neutralize odor from stoma output; internal deodorant tablets like Parthenon Devrom work systemically to reduce odor at the source. Skin protective wipes create a thin film on peristomal skin before barrier application, reducing stripping damage at each change. Adhesive removers such as Ferndale Detachol gently dissolve the barrier adhesive at removal, protecting sensitive or fragile peristomal skin. Barrier paste fills in skin irregularities around the stoma to improve the barrier seal and prevent undermining. Irrigation sleeves are used with colostomy irrigation systems as an alternative to daily pouching.
